Description
These high leverage cutters from Knipex offer precision cutting, are suitable for soft and hard wire and are commonly used by fencing contractors and farmers for cutting line-wire up to 4mm high tensile wire. They feature a small recess at the base of the cutting jaw to help keep material as close to the pivot point as possible, resulting in an easier cut. They are also capable of cutting piano wire, bolts, nails and rivets up to a diameter of 5.2mm. It is thanks to the efficient joint design that they deliver an exceptional cutting experience. The cutting edges are approximately ranked 64 HRC on the Rockwell Rating.
These cutters feature an opening spring and locking device which is integrated in the handles which allows for comfortable handling and protection when being transported, and a gripping surface below the joint for gripping and pulling wires with a diameter from 1mm.
