Our lashing rods, sometimes called pigtails due to their distinctive spiral design, are an essential component in professional fencing systems. Engineered for durability and ease of use, these rods are used to attach the top line of a fencing net to a plain line wire above—reinforcing the structure and maintaining vertical tension across the fence. Unlike netting clips the lashing rod creates a stronger hold.
They’re especially valuable in high-spec applications like deer fencing, where extended height is required. In these cases, lashing rods seamlessly join two nets—connecting the top of the lower net to a line wire, and the bottom of the upper net—creating a continuous, secure barrier.
